Multimedia Specialist / Video Editor
What are we looking for:
Carisle Media is seeking a creative and skilled Multimedia Specialist / Video Editor to join our team. The Multimedia Specialist / Video Editor will be responsible for producing and editing high-quality video content for various digital platforms, such as websites, social media, YouTube, etc.
In addition, the ideal candidate should have a strong knowledge of video production, editing, and animation techniques, as well as a keen eye for aesthetics and storytelling. They should be able to work with different types of media, such as video, audio, graphics, and text, and create engaging and informative content that meets the client’s goals and expectations.
In this role, you will:
Video Production:
- Plan, shoot, and record video content for various digital platforms, using professional equipment and software.
- Ensure that the video content is aligned with the client’s brief, brand voice, and target audience.
- Use appropriate lighting, sound, and camera angles to enhance the video quality and appeal.
Video Editing:
- Edit and assemble raw footage into polished and coherent videos, using professional editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.
- Add effects, transitions, titles, subtitles, captions, and any necessary graphics to videos to enhance viewer engagement.
- Ensure that the edited videos maintain high-quality standards, including resolution, audio clarity, and visual appeal.
Video Animation:
- Create and animate 2D or 3D graphics, characters, and objects for video content, using animation software such as Adobe After Effects, Blender, or similar tools.
- Ensure that the animation is smooth, realistic, and consistent with the video style and tone.
- Collaborate with the video team and other stakeholders to ensure the animation quality and standards.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Multimedia Specialist / Video Editor with a strong portfolio showcasing your video production, editing, and animation skills.
- Proficiency in video production, editing, and animation software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Adobe After Effects, Blender, or similar tools.
- Strong knowledge of video production, editing, and animation techniques, best practices, and trends.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Creative mindset with a passion for video and multimedia content.
